Vicinia di Doverio

Social strategy and posters for a village association's events.

A local heritage project developed as a team for the Vicinia di Doverio association. Within the group I handled the social media communication strategy and the design of the promotional posters for the main local events and festivals.

Three festivals in one village, three different registers. For the tenth anniversary of the rye bread festival, the bread is photographed beneath a typographic grid filling the whole page, split in two by a change of background that cuts the title in half. For the patron saint's day, a baroque painting sits beside the title set vertically and the day's programme, from the 10:30 mass through to half past one in the morning. For the Assumption bonfire, real fire, with the date in orange as large as the flame.

Each poster was made in two versions, one for print and one for social: a poster read from across the street and a post seen on a phone can't share the same hierarchy.
