ME.TE.ORA is the day centre for teenagers promoted by the hospital of Esine: a place offering structured therapeutic paths for young people going through a hard time. The logo I proposed was the one chosen.
The mark is two stylised figures holding each other, almost in an embrace. They are different sizes, and that difference tells a relationship of support and protection. Around them, blue and pink circles of varying sizes form the community that revolves around the centre — diverse, and open to everyone.
I developed two configurations. In the second the mark is enclosed in a brush-drawn circle: still an embrace, the kind that feels like home and safety, but the stroke is deliberately broken, because some things can be come out of. A four-colour palette and the DINosaur typeface, chosen for its roundness without being childish.
